The Glendale Catalina

As recently mentioned here on the WIX board, new arrival at Glendale airport is this PBY. Not sure what the insides look like but on the outside she looks extremely well maintained. Look forward to seeing this one fly, possibly at the Glendale airshow next weekend?

Looks nice! Whoever owns that PBY, are they going to keep that paint scheme?

Forget the Pig boat who's Goont bird is that? We are bringing the AC-47 to the Glendale show this w/e. see ya there!

Both are owned by the same guy, along with a TBM, B-25, C-1a. The PBY will be repainted in it WWII markings. The DC-3 was fetured in two articles in Americas Flyways Magazine.
I will be at the show, come look me up, will be near one of the planes.

That's one cool Canso. Buffalo Air is a really cool operator as well. I can't imagine how tough it must be to operate these aircraft up in the Northwest Territories in the heart of winter! They still have some Canso's on the books, and even some C-46's. In fact they have a couple of both for sale on their website... check it out.

They have two C-46's for sale, plus five semi's full of parts for $600k... quite a steal really. Hope someone puts them to good use!

Cheers,
Richard

Scott, feel free to use the Canso photos (and any others I may post for that matter) for the registry if you like. I can send the original images if you prefer.
