This is the second kit I have finished since I started up building again. I haven't built a kit since I was about 12 or 13. It is Heller's 1/48 AU-1 Corsair. What a P.O.S., but a good kit to start with. It is out of the box, with the exception of a Hasegawa -5/AU-1/-7 prop. The decals are Victory Productions (very impressed). I did a little drybrushing, used a watercolor wash for the panel lines, and used pastels for the exhaust stains and dirt on the struts and wheels.

Let me know what you all think...

Congratulation DanteC for your outstanding Corsair!

Next time you make one try a French one like those which fought well in Indochina and Algeria.

Sincerely.
