Here in New Zealand there are numerous ladies involved in Warbirds. Probably the most well known would be P-40 co-owner and display pilot Liz Needham who is also in the famous Warbirds Harvard display team.

We also have had a full female compliment of the Warbirds Catalina crew. And numerous ladies are involved with the Warbirds Dakota crew too.

H'mm, in my mind she was a blonde lady, but now you've got me thinking myself.
I also know that one of the men was the same guy that had been involved in the Skyraider/P-51 BBD collision at duxford during Flying Legends.

We just completed our annual ground school for "FIFI" at Addison. We had 10 women in class. There would have been a few more; however one of our Lead Scanners just went back to Iraq and another regular volunteer hurt herself in a skiing mishap.

As some have said on this thread; anyone who is dependable, works hard, keeps a positive attitude and is willing to do what is asked, will be welcomed in the warbird community with open arms.
