P-51 ACRO

I could arrange for Eliot Cross to due a Aerobatic show in a P-51 Mustang, or if anyone has seen this past year at Oshkosh in the Spitfire. Eliot puts on a great display.

If you did the Brit invasion idea be sure to ask Bob Guilford - his Hawker Hunter is gorgeous! It is painted in the Scottish formation squadron "Blue Diamonds" colors.

I would like to see the Shackelton and a Lysander, two types that I have never seen fly. PJ

Anything you can come up with would be good but here are a few ideas-

1. Anything from CWH, but preferrably the Lancaster and/or Lysander.
2. Avro Shackleton
3. Bob Spence's Swordfish
4. Glacier Girl
5. As many Spits and Hurricanes as possible
6. Anything of Jeff Clyman's (P-40, P-47, FG-1D, B-25)
7. A return appearance by the CAF P-39 and maybe the P-63
8. Bearcats. Lots of them- Tom Wood, Howard Pardue, Ray Dieckman and the CAF one to name a few

Thunder 2006 wish list

Like most of the other posters here, I'd like to see a large variety of British aircraft; Spits, Hurricanes, Lysander, Lancaster, Hunter, Mosquito, Swordfish, Firefly, Sea Fury, Vampire. A few German aircraft would be a nice balance; ME109, FW 190, Me 262, Ju 52, Storch.

I really enjoyed Dale Snodgrass flying Excalibur like he stole it 2 years ago. Another warbird acro display like that would be good.

Hopefully, Jach Roush will have his newest P-51 (A ???) ready.

Future Thunders:
Air racers, Gee Bees thru current Reno
A show with a few WWI aircraft mixed into the theme.
a FLYING Mosquito.
Bearcats & Corsairs

Whatever you do, just keep flying over my house. Makes my day seeing Yankee Lady (and Yankee Warrior) cruising thru the sky Wednesday evenings.

How about some of the Korean and Vietnam warbirds. AC-47, A-1, A-26, F-4, F-105 ( I wish) Migs, etc. etc.

A Berlin Airlift theme would be cool for a future idea, C-54, C-47, C-46, etc.

... and F-100, A-4, C-123, Bearcats (the French used 'em!) and maybe a B-52 fly-by could be arranged. Good idea!

I love the idea of having a vietnam themed show. I think vietnam vets sometimes don't get the recognition they deserve, and what better way to honor their service to our country.

Not to mention the sweet aircraft. I have yet to see an f-100 in flight
