Where was the North American Dallas factory?
What became of it, was it used for subsequent aircraft production and is it still being used?

The factory was used by Vought, LTV, and now Boeing I think is building 767 tail sections in it.

The website Abandoned & Little-Known Airfields has some information about Hensley Field / Dallas NAS. At the top of the page click on "Hensley Field/Dallas NAS", or just scroll down until it appears.

DING!

Did someone say NAA Dallas??

My dad worked at North American in Dallas during WWII.

It became Vought after the war, then Temco and LTV, and for a while it was Northrop/Grumman now back to Vought. Yes they are building airliner parts and Gulfstream wings.

They have built a lot of airplanes in that plant.
P-51, AT-6, B-24, C-82 (three?) F-4U Corsair,F6U, F7U, F-8, A-7 and a few others.

It is on the southwest side of Dallas next to Mountain Creek Lake. It was attached to Hensley Field which became NAS Dallas. The airfield is now closed except for an Army Guard Chinook operation.
