I've been throught this thread and nobody has mentioned you place of work once ? Nor in the other two posts on P47s or Sea Furys ?

Anyhow i am usualy the mushroom when it comes to what's going on.
Must be a bit slow?

I can't help it, I gotta say something......
given the fact that two Australian based aircraft restorers recently took an extended trip to the UK and the recent appearance of the restoration work on 'some' spitfire parts as mentioned in the latest Classic Wings I'd say we could see an example added to the current stable here in Australia.
I just love the work that has been done on that Spitfire tail unit, looks a lot better than the first time I saw it.....
