AAF Repair Depots during 1945

What AAF Depots were operating around the world in 1945?
Specifically for the O/H or repair of the Merlin V-1650-7.
Would any have the initials of B.A.D.?
I've seen a Merlin with B.A.D. 3.30.45 stamped on the crankcase side.
Don't know if this is a Depot or a message for this engine.

B.A.D. is Base Air Depot. Not sure how many B.A.D.'s were is use during the war.

3.30.45. was most likely just a date.

BAD 2 at Warton repaired and overhauled 6,164 inline engines, including 3,578 Packard Merlins. BAD No 1 at Burtonwood tended to concentrate on radials. BAD No 3 was at Langford Lodge in Northern Ireland. I'm not sure what engines they handled.

Warton is still a very active airfield.

I knew the 3.45 was the date. I didn't have a pic that showed whether there was a TT stamped along with it.

3.30.45 I'm guessing would be an AMERICAN DATE. so the Americans did the work.... If the Brits worked on the the Month and Year would be transposed..... Anyone agree?

Yes, the month-day-year numeric format is American only.
