B-17G-55-BO 42-102715. This aircraft flew as N66573, (Black Hills Aviation number 10) until she crashed in Montana during July, 1979. Photo shows her with the Sacramento Mountains in the background, the area she usually worked during the fire season.

If you contact them, could you get the first name of this Hamilton character? The souvenir booklet is autographed and the first name seems a bit unusual and starts with the letter "A" or "O" I think.Dear Brandon:
Hamilton Airport does not exist and is currently farm land. We do have a
grass landing strip at the old Radio Ranch airport south of town on Judson
Road that Russ Hammer owns. I just called Mr. Hammer son and he did say
that once in awhile a plane will land there.
We do have a historian for Polo, whose name is Betty Obendorf. If you would
need any more information or are in need of giving those photos away she can
be reached at 815-946-4142.
