I have not "personally attacked" anyone, if that is what is being suggested here.
if my opinions, were taken as a personal dig or attack I guess our train of thought on the paint scheme and naming of an aircraft is 180 out and I do apologize if any torque values were increased.
now, lets all be as one and be together as one and care about aircraft and the enjoyment we get out of them.

The Air National Guard's 116th Bomb Wing relocated to Robins AFB, Georgia in 1996, equipped with the Rockwell B-1B Lancer.
In January 2000 America's premier aviation artist Dru Blair recreated a historic icon of World War II air power on the nose of a B-1 bomber for the 116th Bomb Wing. Working from a raised platform in a hangar, he used his renowned airbrush technique to faithfully render the pinup girl in a blue bathing suit that graces the nose of the Memphis Belle, the most famous B-17 Flying Fortress of World War II. The Belle gained fame as the first bomber to complete 25 missions and was declared a national historic treasure.

The film in which the "Movie Belle" starred was just on Encore. First time I'd seen it in probably 15 years. A bit cheesy, but really not as bad as I'd remembered. Maybe I'm getting soft as I get older, or maybe it's because last time I saw it "Pearl Harbor" hadn't come out yet! Unfortunately the model shots haven't held up very well, but seeing the real Forts in action still makes it worth a watch.
