Great shots! Love the color! Those last two of Hellcat "509" were taken at Trumbull Airport in Groton, CT. That hangar in the background was still there a few years ago but it's been demolished. :(

While you're looking for more crop dusters, see if you can't find the true needle in the haystack- a Spartan NP-1 in the middle of all those yellow trainers... please? :)

I second N3N's response- been there, done that! Actually, that photo was sent to me years ago by a Naval historial, I think with the NHC. We enlarged it, and a version of that photo is now about 15 feet tall and constitutes the backdrop for our museum's display of the only surviving intact NP-1. I have a poster size version in my office. So count me as a fan of that image! Got any more??? :)
