Where can I find external fuselage markings details for the F-84F?

Many thanks

I ran into that issue and could never find a good source of markings details. I am sure there is a manual, or sets of drawings somewhere, but I have not located them. So, I looked through a good number of photos and worked from there. I did start my own schematic, but it is still a work in progress:

And even though there were standards I have noted many variations between airplanes.

This project will be an ongoing one for some tim. But, Phase 1 (Cleaning and repair work) and Phase 2 (Painting) have been completed and the airplane has been displayed on the ramp side of the museum for several months. Phase 3 will be an attempt to rebuild the cockpit, add speed brake actuators and pylons. That is the dream stage for the moment. Over the past few weeks I have put my notes together in a schematic showing the source of the various parts. Our airplane is a real Frankenstreak!

Thanks, Tom!

I am hoping I can do the A-7 justice as well.

I spent a year at Etain AB, France in the early '60s refueling "hogs" (most of the crew guys referred to them that way). They were Ohio ANG birds that had been activated when things got a little "warm" in Europe. When the Guard left, we had the birds for a year before the 366th was sent to Holloman for F-4s.

So I join those WIXers who would love the see an airborne F-84 again.
