Shame. How hard could it have been to save a Yukon's cockpit section and pick it up by C-130?

Yep, that occurred to me too: rescue, say, the nose section and one or two of the Tyne turboprops, and restore and display those inside NMRCAF's new hall where the superb Halifax is. However, what's done is done...and BTW NMRCAF are making great strides with several other projects following the Halifax.

Our old Harvard is one of those projects
She is completed and looks fantastic
