Pre-WWI-postWWII vintage a/c parts closeout
Still in process of closing out our 43 year collection from vintage aircraft parts business. Decades of accumulation of parts from vintage aircraft salvaging, projects,selling/buying/trading with major museums and collector warehouses world-wide. Many of these items too large to figure out simple postage rates (for ebay etc) so thought I would mention them here…
Have already sold several truckoads of vintage instruments, engines, parts.
Some of the following items being offered, are listed below. Will supply photos, descriptions, prices and answer questions on individual (or groups of) items, if you see anything of interest-just ask. Contact info can be found at my website, as linked in the signature, below.

1. I had collection of 84 vintage props. Kept my TWO favorites, one over 100 year old chain-drive, the other magnificent giant wood prop with 14” wide blades

2. Boxes full of 1320, 1400, 2000 vintage seaplane floats parts & fittings for Pipers, Aeroncas, T-Craft, Stinson, Luscombe and many others, including many Rare NOS float repair parts

3. Several cartons/piles of various good oil & fuel tanks and carb air boxes for vintage aircraft, Warner, Aeronca, Pipers, Classics etc

4. Velie Monocoupe engine mount.

5. Aeronca C-3 “Y” exhaust

6. WWI-between wars & later, seat belts & hardware

7. Curtiss OX- manifolds & carbs

8. Misc magnetos back to pre-WWI and up

9. Boxes with hundreds of NOS DZUS fasteners of various sizes, along with lots of clecos

10. Boxes of specialize tools for aircraft (& vintage auto) restoration, such as large sets of outer amd inner hole, “Hole-finders” for re-skinning riveting etc

11. WWI Original 2 Cyl Lawrance Aero engine, complete even with original mounts

12. Carton of large varieety of tach drives, right angle drivesand various other adapters & drives

13. Carton of NOS Wright 6, 7, & 9 cyl radial aero eng gaskets

14. Bf-109 or ME-109 German aircraft tachs. Part # FL20227

15. 40? Year old Large Gee Bee racer model apprx 57” ws x 40 length.

16. *Vintage old Black & Decker Load-O-Meter, Type B aircraft scale set in old original Military packing and shipping crate with accessories, wheel ramps/plates. Very good cond.
Shipping/Packing/special-made storage crate is 21” high, and 17” x 21. High quality. Was used and loaned out Many times, by us over the years. For civil and military a/c

17. Over 100 Original Museum grade (Many are Ex-Smithonian Exhibits, verified)aviation artworks, oils, water colors, pen, pencil and more pf all aviation Eras. Many Famous paintings and artist and some signed by famous aviation history-maker in the art.

18. Thousands of Original aircraft & engine manuals, brochure, catalogues, company reccords, historic signed documents & Original photos (over 100,000), by many famous aviators, designers, record setters, astronauts, from pre-Wright Bros, on up. Lots of exotic rarities, along with many Classics.

19. Long and short runs of many aviation periodicals, from all countries, most languages, lots of extreme rarities, all Eras from pre-Wright, on up. Heavy on rare early mags.

20. Lots of Unique historic records & documents from Curtiss Aeroplane, Curtiss Wright, Weaver/Advance/Waco aircraft Co. Lots of Important history from closed company files and correspondence of the major figures, not available before now.

21. Comprehensive aviation reference compilations (Average set of bindings for many of these sets is Over 100 lbs each and several feet of shelf space EACH) for groups such as Rockets & Missiles; Japanese Aircraft, French Aircraft, Russian Aircraft, German aircraft, Special Luftwaffe collection from Luftwaffes Senior Press Officer. Lots of various U.S. Aircraft Company smaller groups Also 9 full file cabinets with extensive reference files on 3600 different aircraft types, that was sompiled over a 40 year period by an Air Force General (and his staff-as they are very meticulously orded and preserved)

Sorry for delay. you asked about a large amount of items, and I started pulling some out to photo and describe. Just ent you the "walk-through" of collection, and also some photos & info on first couple of items on your list. (more to follow)

One Wixer stopped by the house last week , on a whim, and out of curiosity. It took the two of us, to carry out his piles of "impulse" purchases. :D
