This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Tim,
Any plans on coming to Valparaiso, IN to the IAM to do a story on this awesom museum? Supposedly the museum has some "special" events planned for Spring 2006.

Tim, I got to fly your B-25 years ago, back then it was set up so we could put one gear down at a time, is it still able to do that? Have fun with it !

Hi Tim;
Just wanted to say "Thanks" for getting my new subscription to me in a nice, timely manner. I first picked up your mag (volume #5) at a bookstore a couple of months ago and was very impressed with the Digest's layout, photography, article subjects and content (was especially impressed with the Jack Roush article), and Volume #6 has been just as superb; all in all a splendid job!
I was a big fan of Warbirds Worldwide when it was around and was very much saddened when it closed down. From what I can see, Warbird Digest is certainly a worthy sucessor to it and provides a very important, inspiring, and entertaining service for the Warbird community.
Looking forward to the next issue; keep up the darn fine work!
Cheers,
Neil H.

Thanks Neil. Glad you enjoy it! We have been trying real hard to be different from everything on the market!

Interesting. I am trying to figure out systems-wise how you would rig that. Were you doing it with the hand pump?

I'm a little slow ... I let my first WD subscription expire a while back, and after, oh . . . about 3 "reminders" from Tim and Co., I re-upped for the two year deal with a free issue thrown in. Within days that free issue (#6, I believe - Corsair on the cover) arrived!
Absolutely the best photography of ANY aviation magazine out there. The high-quality paper is the icing on the cake. And what a deal -good price for six issues! You go, girl!
Only thing I would change is maybe add a few "retro" (historical) stories featuring photos (Jack Cook and Martin Kyburz could help you here - I would supply artwork images I've done for next to nothing) about the men and machines the warbird troops are honoring. Probably out of your "mission statement", but a suggestion.

following the example copy on the web - I HAD to subscribe it looks brilliant - (though you'll have to be going some to beat Classic Wings in my book

) so i did about 2 weeks ago - does that mean i get the latest issue or the next one?
All the best
Ben
