Years ago I was looking into the condition of KB999. I certainly wish there were some pictures of its current state.

Can the claim that the airframe was totally crushed up by the ice, be substantiated?

I hope and pray that the ice on the lake simply pulled it off of the sandbar that it originally came to rest on, then it sank to the bottom in a condition not as bad as people make it out to be.

FYI, I don't have the money yet, but I'm going to buy Kermit's Lanc.
