Regardless of who did it, I happened to be on a trip in the 7X over to Frankfurt earlier this year and managed to find his grave:

I have read from various sources that he has been moved a few times and if I remember correctly in the last move all they had was his skull
Can anyone confirm or add to this

Sorry not trying to morbid

Edite note :

Researching further , I found accounts from his Brother Bolko who says the entire remains were recovered

I am being picky, but why is the title "the infamous Red Baron"?
I haven't read any negatives about von Richtofen, except that he was a ruthlessly efficient destroyer of allied airmen and planes.
Is it as simple as him flying for the wrong side nearly 100 years ago or is there another story?

LOL
Actually , I have seen the seat in person ( it's about 1 hr from me)
The holes that you can see in the middle of the back area are from what is most likely an attachment location for a shoulder harness They are man made and in a perfect line.
There are no bullet holes in it anywhere
