A79-606 in open storage at Midland, Western Australia in 1999. This was the sister aircraft to A79-664 as both aircraft were purchased by the same chap post RAAF ATC use (I think).

The fuselage of A79-606 was more complete as it still had it's instrument panel & ejection seats in it, whereas A79-664 didn't, but it's pod was in better condition.

A79-620 at Belmont ATC, Western Australia in Jan 1999. Shortly after this date the aircraft was relocated to (I think) Pearce RAAF base to support a T.35 Vampire restoration being carried out or planned to be carried out there?

No, I just transferred over there for a couple of years & did some research into what was around.

The one you refer to being at Hazelmere would without doubt be A79-606. It had been moved to Midland when I last saw it & may still be there?

When we arrived in Perth in the early 70s there was a Vampire outside a building on Stirling Hwy in Claremont.
Does anyone know if this was A79-821 before it was moved to the Bull Creek museum?

The fuselage pod of A79-664 after disassembly of the aircraft, now on it's way (via my now retired but trusty Hilux... we've had many aircraft related adventures & the only vehicle I have ever owned that hasn't let me down) to secure undercover storage for the first time in it's life.

Does anybody know where it is now??
