Looks like it's PR Mk XIX G-RRGN, not a Mk I (or Mk II?) as shown in the photo

While it certainly could have been much worse it's still an awful way to start the new year. I hope RR get her repaired quickly as G-RRGN has to be among the nicest Spitfires currently operating. At least in my humble opinion.

It arrived back at Duxford on Wednesday on board two trucks, now in the ARCO hangar being assessed.
