With that timeframe and weird markings, I'd guess it's an ANG hack.

The establishing shot (photo #2) is not Edwards...too green and the hangars are pre-war.
Remember, it's a movie...films often/usually merge different locations in to one spot.

The Scenes with the F-86s & the T-33 are at Van Nuys, the Hills in the background are a give away, in that photo with the F-86D it’s pretty much aimed at Newhall / Santa Clarita, love to see this film!
