The Connecticut Air & Space Center is seeking some original riveting hand tools for display purposes. We are in the process of enhancing a factory display and would really like to make it time period correct. Our long term goal is to honor the many factory workers from WW2, not only at Chance Vought but all companies. We do not need a working example. Please contact me if you have one available or might consider donating one.

Thanks!

Drew

Good luck finding an old thumb operated rivet gun, might have to do some serious excavating, I haven't seen one in 35 years-

I found a really beautiful on in Manhattan of all places in a decorators store. Someone polished it on a buffing wheel so it looked like chrome. It was mounted on an oak base and they were asking obscene money, I'm sure its still there. To each his own.

The old goosenecked ones turn up on Ebay once in awhile. That's where I got mine. It's a two handed gun but very controllable and smooth.
