Does the EAA have an original set? I bet Mr. Poberezny does. He's very sick, but is still alive. A few years ago, there was a manual for sale on ebay, I think it may have been mentioned on WIX. Maybe you could track that one down or put an ad where a collector might contact you.

FWIW, when I used to study in the "Engineering Library" at UCLA (1964-65) they had an incredible collection of WWII aircraft maintenence manuals within the book stacks. There were 100's of them! Now whether they are still there or not would require a visitation by someone who lives in the area and has access to the library. I no longer live in the area but perhaps a WIX'er has an a son / daugther enrolled there who could make an inquiry...
