Just about everything you ever wanted to know on RAAF Phantoms can be found on these 3 webpages - and sadly the operations ended 40years ago nearly to the day.

Well that's a shock... I never knew the Aussies operated the Phantom II. I guess you learn something every day. Thanks for the post.

I think it was a temporary thing, with loan aircraft,whiles they were waiting for their F-111s.
