I was told by several of the B-29/B-24 members that they would burn up the fuel onboard just to get down there and burn most of what they got on the way back due to the limitations of operating out of Addison Airport. I imagine if they were going down that way (like say to Wings over Houston) and were going to stay away from Addison for a while, it'd probably make sense because they could tank up fully on fuel.

Well there goes our plans for fuel. Burn half of it getting there and back! They didn't make that 200 gal. stipulation in their initial offer. We even got a personal invite to come get gas from them.
