Unexpected air recce photo

Thought you all might like to see this photo, taken by a 32TRS RF-4, recently donated to the ARG Archive at Alconbury:

The time period of the photo is 1969-72, so could just cover the Battle of Britain movie filming, but I must admit when I found it while going through a bundle of practice target photos it was a bit of a "Final Countdown (1980)" moment... ;)

"Help yourselves, everybody...there's no fighter escort." The pic was probably takn during the filming of the sequence that starts at about the six-minute mark of this clip.

Either that, or the RF-4 flew through the same time warp as the commercial airliner inthat old Twilight Zone episode...
