What an amazing shine. Must have been some very tired arms from polishing that aluminum! Now imagine the b-29!

I found this old photo by googling it.

That's me by the fuselage and my brother by the engine. I remember getting parts for the C-133 from Atlantic city, NJ shortly before she was destroyed.

Was that taken at Bradley?

How many C-133's did AC have? I think the fuselage from one is still visible from Google Earth next to a 747SP.

The pic of 43-4999 in natural metal is from Mercer County Airport NJ (TTN)
Dave, I think there were 2 C-133's at AC then, I played on the flight deck and roamed the planes insides while my dad and the other guys removed the parts

There was also a B-25J gun nose next to the H at Mercer Airport. NEAM took the gun nose from the J when they picked up the H. (OMG, I sound like I'm one of the Men in Black!)

I remember seeing the B-25's sitting at Mercer County. Their neighbor was at least one Viscount that belonged to US Steel. US Steel had a hangar at Mercer straight across the runway from the B-25's (next to Navy test center). My Dad was an A&P for US Steel at the time.
I was up to NEAM the other month, well worth a visit, but did not see the B-25. Where is it now?

The b-25 is in the cold storage hanger right now. They rotated it out so the a-26 invader could be displayed. I wish they both were next to each other on display. A fantastic collection
