Excuse me, John Cournoyer's Fairchild 71 was at Sun-n-Fun?! That's a long way from home!
I would love to see that fly, so let's hope he wants to show it to other people too and takes it to Oshkosh this summer...

I believe it has now moved on to a new owner and is based in the south somewhere.

It makes me so happy to see this - I grew up 30min north of RNZAF Ohakea, home base for 75 and 14 Squadrons, I remember the farewell flypast in December 2001. It's wonderful to see these old birds alive and well - albeit far from "home" - and being admired.

Great shots, it looks like a wonderful event with a great mix. I hate to think how much one F-22A costs per hour!
