WANTED: Photos of P-51D Mustangs Acquired By Sweden

GENTLEMEN:

For your information, I'm under contract to write an extensive article about the Mustangs formerly of the Eighth and Ninth Air Forces that were sold to the Royal Swedish Air Force (RSwAF) after World War Two. I'm writing in regards to obtaining high resolution scans of these aircraft taken while they were still in the markings of the Army Air Force. Specifically, I need photographs that have NOT appeared on either the "LittleFriends" or "Web-Birds" excellant internet sites. I realize that this is a "tall order". However, I'm hoping that my efforts to recruit contributors will be successful. So far so good. Please be informed that over time my project has turned into a challenging long term endeavor. Currently, I'm trying every avenue available to me to get the results I desire. I realized early on that networking was my only alternative. Therefore, I ask for your assistance concerning this matter. Any help you can give to me will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

John surely is at least disappointed by me because I promised scans that I did not deliver - this is due to my packing / moving / unpacking stuff at short notice (that's when life takes other venues than planned...)

As of this Sunday, my photo-collection will be accessible again and I will do my utmost to help in this project.
