Kidding...some absolutely magnificent pics in there. Unfortunately, you can't right-click and save from Flicker unless there's a trick I don't know. I'll have to do some "print screen" saves when I get the time.

Angle of attack for carrier launch, is my guess, to give it some chance of flying when they fling it into the sky. The F4D and A4D had pretty tall nose gears, too.
