Their website/blog says RL249 will be restored as a FB.VI and will be repainted/configured a la BBMF every couple of years to represent different FB.VIs and NF.IIs.

I doubt it will fly but the restoration of B.35 TA661/CF-HMR is to airworthy standard, and whenever anyone asks him Kermit Weeks says he will return his B.35 RS712/N35MK to airworthy.

It has now been delivered to the owner, having made a total of 4 flights (including the delivery flight) I believe. It is reported that it will be stored, as the owner apparently has no intention of operating it.

There are a few static restorations in Australia and Canada taking place now.

The RAAF Museum's Mosquito PR.XVI A52-600 is a long term static restoration currently underway. And another that is a project, and that's it in Australia. New Zealand, as per your notes is the happening place.

I think it is a stunning achievement getting it in the air, and it looks amazing in flight.
But it appears from the comments that it will only fly a few more times, if any more, and then will be parked?

I would think that Mr Jens will want to fly it before parking it, or at least go for a ride?
I cannot imagine anyone would have an airworthy Mosquito and not find out what it is like to fly.
