I toured Olympia about a year ago and was pleasantly surprised. Despite the hull issues she was much better cared for than some of these articles lead on. I was impressed by her very dedicated crew. I am glad that she will remain in Philly. My friend and I got a full tour of the ship below decks. One engine room is complete, the other is pretty well stripped out. Here are some pics from the visit.

Wow...absolutely stunning...!!! Thank you for posting the pictures. She looks fantastic! Nice shot of the USS New Jersey sitting across the river. Somewhere close by is the SS United States in desperate need of help...
