The Fighter Factory FG-1D Corsair (92508), and the Kalamazoo Air Zoo's FG-1D (92509) are also sequential twins. I wonder if we'll ever see those two in the air together in the future?

Two surviving B-17s are consecutively numbered: 44-85828 I'll Get Around (static display) and 44-85829 Yankee Lady (flying). Both were former PB-1Gs. In addition 44-83512 Heaven's Above (static display) and 44-83514 Sentimental Journey (flying) are separated by only one serial. Aircraft -512 was a former weather research aircraft; -514 was a drone director. The aircraft in between was a QB expended in ditching tests, March 1949.
