Will a Stromberg Injection Carburetor Model PT 13G1 Fit a B series R-2800.

Yes, that's the engine it was made for. It is the one we use on our PV-2 with R2800-31's but it was used on many wartime or B series R2800's.

If it ever becomes surplus to your needs we would be happy to give it a good home.

Is there a physical difference between an updraft and downdraft Stromberg? I know that they operate differently.

I'm pretty sure there will be significant differences between updraft and down draft.
