That was really well done.
I have read the book but not yet seen the movie.
I'm not sure what I would do if I were ever brought face to face with the Bird.

An inspiration channel had a really good documentary on him yesterday. Just wow, to have survived all that is incredible! What a lucky lucky man! I don't think I would have been as fortunate. Just 40 some days in a life raft is unthinkable.
RIP Mr. Zamperini.

P.S. As for the bird, although I am young I don't have much of a likeness for Japanese even today. To teach their school kids false history and how the U.S. was the aggressor and committed evil acts is unforgiving!

Didn't you know the Japanese didn't attack Pearl Harbor?
