Secure the APU and fuel. Nothing personal, just one of those things. I am acquainted with a pilot who although very highly respected has none-the-less "landed" several times with gear up. Another friend of mine who is a retired one star general just chuckles and says, "There is NO reason to ever do that - that is what your checklist is for, the minute you are too good for it your luck will run out". Now, I do not know anyone on the recovery expedition and certainly wish none of them any ill - it just serves as a poignant lesson.
