I hope Yankee will bring theirs out to the flight line...it would be nice to see two of them next to one another.

Outstanding to see the Privateer will make the show this year. Would be excellent to see at least one of the B-24's make it to fly with it, but it will be great to see the PB4Y-2 flying in the show in any case!

And it would be really nice to see it on the ramp next to the YAM's Privateer.

Outstanding to see the B-29 "Fifi" added to the lineup!!

Overall theme AND theme Aircraft filled at the same time!

Thanks Michael, and keep up the great work. Can't wait to see what other warbirds (including additional FOUR engined bombers....) might be added to the lineup in the coming weeks and months!

DOC is supposed to be going to Oshkosh, but being that Thunder and OSH are a month apart it might make it more difficult vs Thunder immediately following OSH like normal.

I was a little disappointed in last year - but it isn't Michael or anyone from TOM's fault - planes just don't show up sometime due to mx or wx issues. Two of the main planes I wanted to see fly were the C-46 and the Privateer that both didn't end up coming as well as a B-25 I hadn't seen before, might have been that Rabbit one.

I still have come every year since 2005 except 2007. The bomber theme - especially if it attracts several 4 engine bombers definitely has my attention

IF Doc makes it to Oshkosh, I don't think that the month between EAA AirVenture and Thunder will have an impact on whether it makes it to MIchigan or not. Just like Fifi will be at Oshkosh in July and will be at Thunder a month later, I think there is an outstanding chance that assuming Doc has flown by this summer AND makes Oshkosh, that it will also end up at Thunder. Of course only time will tell.

In any case hopefully we are looking at 1 to 2 B-29's, a Privateer, at least 1 B-24 and 3 to 6 B-17's for a great 4-engine WWII bomber lineup. Add in 1 to 2 A-26's, the Harpoon, say 3 to 5 B-25's for twin engine bombers and the potential for a fantastic "Bombertown USA" theme is definitely there. Just what is known at this point and what I think is reasonably possible, but we will see how things develop over the next few months with 5 months to go until the late August show.

Always appropriate to see a Mustang in the lineup! Keep 'em coming, Michael.

Just a side note to WIX'ers attending the Airshow. The 381st Bomb Group, Triangle L, 8th AF, WWII, B-17's out of Ridgewell will be holding their reunion and will be attending the airshow on Sat., Aug 29th. They were a highly decorated Group of the 8th AF.

Over the last 3 years, we have embroidered both shirts and hats for the group and I anticipate the living veterans attending will be wearing some identification.

I know this isn't necessary, but just some information, and ask the great members of this site to stop by and say hello if your there on Saturday and see some of the veterans.
