Big weekend approaching. The new TVAL Albatross (Kermit Weeks wandering around, so I think he may have been behind the 'wheel') and one of the Fokker Triplanes flew in today (eight to fly at the show in total) along with the Corsair, P-40E (flown by John Romain), two seat Spit, Staggerwing and a couple of Austers. More arriving tomorrow and hope to see the Spit Mk.XIV by Friday.

And did anyone else secretly hope for a Spitfire to flick the V-1 into the weeds with a wingtip?

Spitfire IXe PV270 went overhead as it was flying (it's in NE Europe scheme)
The commentary did mention the tipping.

The show organiser wondered if it would be good next time to have the V-1 on Saturday and repeat the V-2 (from 2011) on Sunday.
