Seems very weird that they couldn't foresee something 14 days ago....not that I care if they are there or not.

I have been working with their Operations people in the Netherlands and their Embassy staff in Washington for the past five years. When they told the show they would attend - they were coming!

Something mighty important has changed their plans over the past two weeks and we will probably never learn the exact reason.

They will put forth an extra effort to be in Ypsilanti in 2016.,

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

I didn't make it up last year. The year before was the year they had all the civilian acts and parked that god awful tour bus and eating area in the taxiway. Did they do that last year and are they doing it again this year? I was REALLY disappointed that they weren't using the taxiway through the crowd to start and shutdown aircraft right in front of the crowd. I'll be there either way, but hoping not to be disappointed again.

Worse last year. Thunderbirds parked on the north end of the ramp and the crowd was all left of the Taxiway. Whole north end was closed off so you could not even walk over to where the B-52 and other museum birds are parked in the field. I like being on the north side of the field when the planes make their banana passes to get them in better light over there in the afternoon. Unfortunately could not do so last year - hopefully that isn't the case this year, but Blues typically park on the south end. This is the first time I remember Thunder ramp extending so far south.

Great addition, Michael! 3 B-25's in the announced lineup so far and that's not including YAM's "Yankee Warrior."

Keep 'em coming!

Any idea whether Diamond Lil will be tagging along with Fifi? I still have not seen her since Gary's big 2006 makeover.

Unfortunately NO. Lil is scheduled to get some TLC when she gets home from her current East Coast Swing that will have her on the ground for a lengthy period of time.

Dang. Of course, I'd rather see her kept in tip-top shape rather than flown in less-than-ideal condition. Hopefully I'll catch up with her sometime this decade.

Lil was at Thunder last year. I got to ride on her. Saw her again at Sun N Fun, I had no idea she was coming to that. Would like to hear some B-17s added

Nice to see the aircraft list on the web site! Can't wait to see what other vintage warbirds may be added to a great list already! :D

Thanks, Tom!

Not quite sure why the Viper Team and Blue Angels teams are listed twice, first as just the teams and then again with individual listing of each aircraft?? :?
