R.Lewis" A-20 312th BG markings, idea which A-20?

The most recent Air Classics states (Has great pics of restoration !) that Rod Lewis' A-20 is going to be painted as one from the 312th BG. It would, of course, one with a solid gun nose & mid upper turret . Anyone know/guess which A-20 that might be?

Thanks Mark A. , Great pic! ( as usual !!) good if it would wear the Skull & X Bones AGAIN !, 'cause that's what this A-20 had in it "Modern" Warbird War-paint ! 
Would also be something else, if they painted "weathered " as Chuck's Corsair will be !!

I hope they pick "Old S", which was C.O. Colonel Strauss' plane, and had logged well over 100 missions. It was slated to be preserved, like Flak Bait, but the plane suffered a fire while on the ground and was destroyed before it could be returned to the United States.

If the gentleman is going through the effort of stripping previous layers of paint to shoot fresh, he may as well tastefully make it look as "new" as the plane will feel in the air. Remember, these aircraft originally came with fresh paint from the manufacturer, and weathered appearances do not enable an audience to fully appreciate the quality of a restoration (and by all means, we can trust this is a restoration of GREAT quality ).
Generally speaking, (for aircraft with weathered finishes) many people may not grasp the significance of an aircraft based upon how it's presented. Faded paint schemes often give a false impression to people unfamiliar with aviation - they associate faded, peeling paint with poor quality. Anything can weather, but a paint job resistant to weathering is quality
Similar scenario with automobiles: there may be a Mustang from a famous chase scene that was totaled in real life. - People are not interested in seeing it with scratched paint, gashes, and dents - people want to see it in its prime - looking fresh and ready for action!
Fitting & respectable choice on the markings! Should be a very attractive aircraft, and I have no doubts regarding it being well done.
