Parrots don't caw.

but awesome pictures! It's nice to see that great big old nose art instead of the ubiquitous shark's mouth :)

I have tried various resources but have come up empty except for the known facts "NAPIER ARMY AIR BASE -- DOTHAN, ALABAMA" I wonder if it is associated with the Mexican Air Force pilots that trained there on or about 1943 in P-40 N's.....

it means High Dynamic Range. It lets you stretch the light lighter and the dark darker in the same image, so you get deep looking, very fantabulous (for Eric I used that one) looking images. Those posters you see of cities are usually HDR, so the city lights stand out nice and sharp and the skyline is dark against a vivid sky.

If I was an 11B enlisted/NCO for 4.5 years, a WOC for 1 year, and a Warrant Officer for 4 Years, you figure out if I was an Officer or not.

Are you much of a photographer?

If the Sgt. Maj. of the Army has to salute you, you are indeed an officer. Guess who told me that one? I never could decide if you guys were class traitors or just plain smart :P

I am not a photographer. The last time I picked up a camera was Kosovo, '98. I'll never look through a viewfinder again. But I was pretty good back in the day.

Well, I'm sure the Seargent Major of the Army would have saluted me, but I guarantee I knew enough as a W2, that if he didn't, just let it go.
