last I checked the KC-97 was a tanker not a bomber
shows you what the owner knows about it.

so what do you think it is worth?
my guess, about 3K maybe...

I reckon about $1.75/Ton would be about right

Cool! There is a lot of work there and $14K is super high - but it would be a cool museum piece for the kids (of all ages) to sit in and get a feel for old planes. There is a guy in Southern Utah that has one that if fully restored - lights up and all - I think he wants way too much for it as well - about $40K or something like that. I would love to have it but not at that price.

Ditto, would be a great interactive piece for the museum, but not for that price.

In all fairness, sellers will put any keyword in an ad title that will get a shopper to find their item with a search so that the darn thing has a chance of being found and bid on ....
