Bought this tin-litho Pack-Plane on ebay about 12-13 years ago...had to mould a nosecone for it and build two tailfins from one

Mark, anything from Chennault AFB in Lake Charles late 50's or Forbes AFB in Topeka early 60's? I was there...

Awesome! I remember those air show days. In the last aerial picture, if you look just to the right of the main gate road and closest to the highway, there are two duplexes and two houses surrounded by some trees. I lived right there for five years, during the Cuban Missile crisis!

Nice bit of photoshop there Chris!...I carved the end of a 2x2 timber to shape, warmed a sheet of acrylic enough over a gas hob and pulled it down over the wood shape, trimmed with a hacksaw, wired it on to the toy
