It in the US Army Air Corps (or Air Service, I don't know date on photo). My best guess is that it is a Curtiss O-1B Falcon.

Thanks Duggy 009 It appears to be the attack version of the O-1B the A-3 . I knew I could count on Warbird Information Exchange for my aircraft questions.
