That's close but hardly dangerously so. I've been in various rotary winged stuff and it seemed like a rotor was going to come in through the gap in the ramp, then I see photos from the side (or on final to the assault phase) and realize we're at least one and a half the distance of the entire rotor arc apart.

I've had a Caribou put his nose up so close under the tail of my Caribou that I could have slid off the ramp and stood on the nose in front of the windscreen.
Amazing to see....wish I had a picture....
