Why didn't the fagen p-38 show up?

Bad weather.

That's a bummer... The 38 was the reason I made the trek...disappointed not to see it on the ramp...I guess the weather kept a lot of people away. The show seemed bleak compared t prior years..

Weather was NOT the issue. The pilot was ill and unable to fly and there was not a replacement pilot available in time to get it to Reading. And that's all I am going to say about it. We were ALL extremely disappointed about it but it happens sometimes. We will certainly try again next year for both it and the Bf-109.

I couldn't make it up this year, but there was a great line-up of rare aircraft there including the Mosquito (really hated missing that) the B-29 the Dauntless, the helldiver and a whole lot more. Greg and the air staff put together a super line up yet again. But things happen and it wasn't for lack of trying. There's always next year

Greg, great job getting some flying in on friday despite the low ceiling. That T-6/P-51 formation of Kevin Russo and Mark Murphy was about as tight as the blue angels. Had a great day. Mosquito was worth the price of admission.
