I do not believe the posted aircraft list is accurate.

Hopefully, someone will remedy this situation.

Tom, I just noticed that your announced 4 Dutch F-16's and the Pave Hawk helicopter from Moody AFB, GA are not listed...

I am looking forward to seeing all the regulars in the photo pit and on the Friday taxi way day.

I know I look forward to helping Tom out in the pit every year and it is a great group of people who keep on coming back to what is the greatest photo pit in the air show business.

Jeff

Jeff - looking forward to seeing you and Tom and the others again next month. Agree it is the best Photo Pit anywhere!

I see there is now at least 1 A-10 added to the static line up.

Getting excited for this years show.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think the A-26 will be making it, it had a nose gear collapse at Osh Kosh and the props look pretty bent up from the pictures I have seen

Wish that Dean would be heritage certified, which I don't think that he is as mentioned would be cool to have him do a heritage flight with the P-51 and F-22 and maybe for the F-86 to show up for a 4 ship.

However I remember a few years ago when they did the 3 ship heritage flight with the F-86, F-100 and P-51 the F-100 was a distance away from the F-86 and P-51, making me think that he didn't do formation flights. Unfortunately I would doubt that the USAF would allow the F-100 near their expensive F-22 unless he was fully heritage certified, it is different when he is flying among 2 privately owned warbirds like he did 3 years ago.

either way, glad to see the F-100 back.

Great to see something else built by North American (which eventually became a part of Boeing) for Boeing's 100 year anniversary.

Fingers still crossed for Doc to show up

Would be nice to have an F-100 and pilot HF certified someday. Don't know that will ever see that. Another issue is pilot age. Maximum age for HF certification is about 65 at most. Some pilots have aged out and/or will before long.

I wonder if someone like Dale Snort Snodgrass (who isn't on this years Heritage Team) or Vlado Lenoch, Charles Hainline who have experience flying multiple types of jets could possibly get certified on the F-100 (if they aren't already) and possibly "borrow" this particular F-100 or the Collings F-100 t do a Heritage flight one day with one.

The problem with the f-100 is dean really tries to limit hours on it. Doing heritage flights with it would really rack up the hours. So I really doubt the Hun will ever be in HFs.

I think that would be difficult because a prospective F-100 pilot would have to "borrow" the Super Sabre a LOT to get proficient enough to qualify to fly in a Heritage Flight.

Friday Taxiway Photography and the Saturday Photo Tour/Photo Pit slots are all gone.

A few Sunday Photo Tour/Photo Pit passes remain.

Act now, they probably will be gone early next week.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.
