:( looks like I do not get the book, a guy that sells on ebay is going to pay more and bust it up. I was going to keep it complete and give it to the Oshkosh air museum or a family member if I could contact the guys relatives.  :? :? Use as you wish, the album came to light this year and I do not think anyone has seen these photos in the album. Thank You to all you US Air Corps /Air force historians that provided information. My uncle flew on B-29s from Tinian. Wouldn't talk much about it, but did show me a group of nose art photos he bought from the guys in the base photo lab. They were selling quite a few of them, and they were the same as some of the ones in this thread.

Thanks for posting the pics. Unfortunately, that happens a lot.....there are several certain ebay sellers that do that quite often, you'll see an album get bought and then the photos appear as singles, or you just see photos that came from an album individually for sale. Kind of stinks, but it's theirs once they buy it and can do what they want with it. And they will probably end up making money on it by breaking up, which is why the guy probably offered more, he already kind of new what his returns could be. $$$$.
