Unidentified Seat frame from a B-17G Crash Site

Sat Sep 23, 2017 4:53 am

Hello Folks,

I was wondering if anyone can identify the location within a B-17G, that this seat frame would have been located please. As of yet, I cannot place it.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Will

We have built new seats for Champaign Lady from the original drawings. This does not look like anything we have run across as far as the standard B-17 seats.

Does not look like something that would come from a "crashed" airplane. Usually what we see are shots of bits and pieces.
