CAPFlyer wrote:Wow, hearing Frank Welker (aka Fred of Scooby Doo) as the pilot makes perfect sense for some reason.

There's a saying that if you've seen an American cartoon you've heard Frank. The same could be said for about 50% of movies too!

I found the Catch-22 TV pilot on Youtube.

It is truly bizarre, canned laugh track included! Cast is full of faces you'll recognize (Col. Lard!).

Darn. I somehow skipped over P-51's post.

Guess I was too excited about that really awful TV pilot!

Don't know if it's been mentioned , two B-25's from the States flew to Sardinia for the filming. Axis Nightmare, 45-8898, from Tri-State near Cincinatti and Photo Fanny, 44-30423, from Planes Of Fame. Seen movie short of the flight of Axis Nightmare to Sardinia and can't remember if I seen it online or at Tri-State my last visit in Nov. The movie also used a P-51 and a Ju-52(or CASA) in filming and a few more. Axis Nightmare still had on it's movie paint, removeable of course according to my guide, NOHA307.

Don't know how everyone else feels but I think it really looks good. Utilizing CGI as an enhancement to tell a story while allowing the actual footage to do the heavy lifting. I'm thoroughly excited to see this classic novel retold for a 21st-century audience.

Anybody know what the "W.G.F.P" stands for after my grandfather's name (Tom Mooney)?
