The dates for the 2018 THUNDER OVER MICHIGAN Air Show will be August 25th & 26th.
The theme will be "20 Years Of Thunder".

August 1943 75th anniversary of Battle of Sicily. Maybe a ground reenactment of that and some of the aircraft used?

There were also some heavy B-17 raids in Germany in 1943, maybe time for another gathering of B-17s?

Hard to believe that this will be the 20th year ... time flies. The first time I went to this show, it was called "Salute to Freedom." I've been to this show 13 years now. I'll be following this thread closely to see if a 14th trip will be in the works.

Here's hoping for a banner year with a lot of warbirds.

Looking forward to hearing some updates now that the ICAS convention has taken place and the new year is here! I did see Sean D. Tucker has Thunder on his schedule, per a post on his Facebook page.

The Royal Jordanian Falcon tour of North America planned for 2018 has been postponed until 2019 or 2020.

Any updates? Usually by Mid February there is usually a short list of warbirds announced. All I see so far is the Thunderbirds and someone mentioned Sean Tucker.

I am also a little concerned about the lack of updates on aircraft at this point compared to most other years.
