This is SO cool! Congratulations to Taigh and his crew! It will be great to have another Harpoon flying!

I also really dig the blue and white '72 Ford pickup that's visible in a couple of the photos. (car guy forever!)

You know, that natural metal looks good to me right now! As much as I appreciate their donation, I will not use Sherwin Williams Aerospace paint again.

1501 or BuNo 37535 was the first D model made and it is the one that is still around and flyable with the Erickson collection in Madras.

A pic from 2012. I dig the polished look. Its a lot of work to keep looking good, but considering there aren't any polished Harpoons flying around, I kinda like it.

There is NO news about the Howard. It was sold to a buyer a few years back who continues to allow it to slowly sink into the dirt.
